Dr. Jean-Pierre Magro - Malta Producer / Writer
The Malta based movie producer and writer joined Urban Canyons in 2025. Jean-Pierre has a long track record in the film industry starting as development producer for A+E. He also runs Malta Film Service catering for movies shooting in Malta. He also raised finance and produced several movies such as the Maltese period drama BLOOD ON THE CROWN with Harvey Keitel and the action movie HOUNDS OF WAR.
Vivian Guan - Executive Producer / Financing
Qatar and London based Vivian is an Executive Producer consultant, raising finance for film and period drama from private investors in the Gulf and Asia. She joined Urban Canyons in 2021, when she oversaw filming of CHINESE WARRIOR QUEEN, shot in Hengdian Studios, Asia's biggest studio complex.
Tim Dunn - Development Producer / Director
London based Script Editor, Series Producer and Documentary Director Tim Dunn has 25 years Director/Producer experience with the BBC specialising in arts and history productions. He is known for CIVILISATIONS and 1066 (BBC), THE WINDSORS and THE KENNEDYS (CNN), as well as BRITAIN UNDER THE NAZIS (C4). Tim joined Urban Canyons in 2017 as script editing and development producer.
Jon Briest - Head of Production
Manchester based Jon Briest has over 20 years production management experience with the BBC in London and Manchester on shows such as TOP GEAR and EASTENDERS. He joined Urban Canyons in 2017, guiding the production of complex drama-led documentaries filmed in West Africa, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Malta and Scandinavia with local crew and cast.

Malta based Paul Parker is an experienced DoP, Executive Producer, and Line Producer of blue-chip documentaries, and low to mid-end American & British movies shot in Malta, featuring Russell Crowe, Chad Michael Collins and Timothy Spall.
